This animation was modeled and animated in LightWave 3D on an Amiga. The cloud effect was created by layering
several walls and applying a cloud-like fractal texture as a transparency map on each. A blue surface was then applied to
the outermost wall.
The individual frames were rendered on
an SGI 02, and then assembled into a quicktime movie
using mediaconvert.
